Day Four Update

Hi Everyone. Today was another good day for us. We did get rained on, on Hwy 550 between Durango Colorado and Montrose Colorado. We only rode abt. 175 miles today, but Highway 550 also known as the Million Dollar Highway, was well worth the effort. The views and scenery on this hwy are incredible. There are a couple of places were you come around a turn and see a city, like Durango, Silverton and Ouray down below in a valley. The view looks just like your looking into a Terry Redlin painting. (www.terryredlin.com) Aside from getting wet during the 65 or so miles of rain the ride was great. I'd do it again in a minute. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures today because of the rain, the camera on the handlebar mount isn't a good idea since it's not waterproof. But the good news is that Cindy did get some good photo's. So props to Cindy for taking todays photos. I put some of them on the site already and also added some of Cindy's pictures from our first three days. I can see that I will have a major project when I get home to get them all in order but thats a good thing that we will have so many fantastic memories.
