Hi Everyone,
Yesterdays ride was another one for the history books. As we left Fresno the wx. was starting to warm up a little but still felt very comfortable. I was wearing my mesh jacket and made the mistake of not taking the liner. By the time we got to Watsonville, I was cold ! We made an unscheduled stop in Watsonville so everyone else could put on another layer of clothes LOL. Santa Cruz provided us with nice cool, somehwat overcast 60ish weather. Very comfortable. The sun was out just enough that the temperatures were perfect. We walked around on the Boardwalk, then it was off to the pier for lunch. Most of us ate at Gilda's which used to be Stagnero's, good food ! On the walk back toward the Boardwalk, we stopped to watch the Volleyball Tournement that was going on, then back to the bikes, to head on home at around 3pm. Overall, a great day, with great company. But curiously, that same guy that was following us around at the Sacramento Train Museum was in Santa Cruz following us again....I think they called him "The Sherrif??!!" He even had lunch with us so I got a picture of him and included it in the gallery, just in case someone knows him. Thanks to everyone who came out to ride with us yesterday, and to those who couldn't make it we hope to see you next time.
